Questions and Answers

Here are some frequent questions that come our way when prospective students contact us:

Q:  what are the steps to get a motorcycle license??

A: first step is taking the knowledge test through ICBC, the MST (Motorcycle Skills Test), and the final step is the road test.

Q: what do I need prior to attending the course?

A: You will need to book and take the knowledge portion of the Motorcycle license prior to attending our course. There is a small fee for this.   Booking can be done online using the ICBC  booking system or by calling  1-800-950-1498

Q:  Does your school provide the MST (motorcycle Skills Test)?

A: There are no motorcycle schools east of Vernon that have a designated MSO (motorcycle  skills Officer).  What we do do is give our students the skills and confidence necessary to pass  the MST.  We will help our students from the first day of class right through to the road test.

Q: Do I need my own bike to take the course?

A: The short answer is no.  The school has a limited number of bikes available to our students.  They are, however, on a first come, first booked basis.  We would encourage students to have their  own bikes thus allowing them to become more comfortable and familiar with  their own ride.

Q: What equipment do I need prior to attending the course?

A: There is nothing required on the first day.  On the following days, students will need a  helmet (DOT, SNELL or ECE standard) long sleeve jacket, long pants, and footwear that covers the ankle

Q:  Do you rent bikes?

A:  Our bikes are insured for the use of our students.  We do not rent them out.
