I attended this course last weekend in Cranbrook, and I really can’t say enough about it.
Prior to the start of the course, I had only ever been on a moped/scooter – and had never ever ridden a motor cycle. It was a three days course, and the first day was classroom based, thoroughly going through road safety., and bike maintenance.
The second day we started the practical side of the course, never leaving the safety of the car park. We got familiar with the bikes and we did practical exercises around pile ons in the car park, similar to those we would face in the skills test. The nice thing about this day, was we got to practice as much as we wanted, and Bill made sure that by the end of the day we completed all of the exercises with ease.
On the third day, we went out as a group riding of the streets of Cranbrook. It was incredible, I found myself changing gears with ease and I felt like I was doing all this right things. By the end of day three, Bill had me riding down the strip in Cranbrook on a busy
Sunday afternoon in a safe manner, and with complete confidence in my own ability.
I just couldn’t stop smiling. Bill started the course by telling us he would never put us in a unsafe situation, and he was good to his word.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this course to anyone. I’m still smiling just thinking about it.
